KingIcon

The Random faction is the faction of The King. It is not truly a faction, it just means that the King will be a random faction that is present within the game.

BlueDragon

The Blue Dragon Faction[]

The Blue Dragon faction makes up a large portion of the classes that spawn in each game. They are the protagonist faction, seeking to defeat the Unseen or Cult, and any neutrals that would dare to seek their ruin. Members of the Blue Dragon don't know who their allies are, and must use investigation and deduction to figure it out.

Members of the Blue Dragon can't talk at night with each other without the help of specific class abilities.

The following classes can be found within the Blue Dragon - an asterisk* marks a class found in every game:

  4. The Drunk
  5. The Hunter
  6. The Knight

Unseen

The Unseen Faction[]

The Unseen are the first of two antagonist factions present in the game. The Unseen faction only starts with 2 members, but The Mastermind can convert most other classes to force them to join the Unseen. When this happens, they become an altered version of their class with abilities more suited to the Unseen's needs. They appear in every game that the Cult doesn't, and when they do The Sheriff also spawn to track them.

Members of the Unseen know who their allies are and are able to speak with each other during the night.

The following classes can be found within the Unseen - an asterisk* marks a class found in every game the Cult is not present:

The Cult Faction[]

The Cult are the second antagonist faction. They will appear in every game that the Unseen doesn't, and when they do The Paladin will also spawn with them to hunt them down.

Members of the Cult know who their allies are and are able to speak with each other during the night.

The Cult Leader can brainwash others to become a a member of the cult, usually planning to later sacrifice them to The Blood God, Mithras (as seen behind The Cult Leader's portrait).

The Neutral Factions[]

Members of the Neutral faction aren't truly a faction, due to to the fact that while some of them are able to win together, they do not have to.

Neutral faction members' goals are unique to that member. Some classes simply must survive, while others must seek to protect or see a target executed. Neutral Killers are unique due to the fact that they must kill everyone who does not need to survive as an objective to win.

Neutral classes can't talk with each other at night.

The following classes can be found within the Neutral faction:

  1. The Alchemist
  2. The Fool
  3. The Inquisitor
  4. The Mercenary
  5. The Possessor
